How to Put on a Wig (With or Without Hair)
For people with biological hair
People that have hair should always use a wig cap to make sure all hair is tucked away neatly and smoothly underneath the wig. A fishnet wig cap is recommended for people who have hair. The thin fishnet material is not too bulky and will allow you to easily wrap and fan out your hair flat against your head.
To apply your wig cap and wig:
1. First, carefully pull the fishnet cap over your head, so that it sits around your neck.
2. Then, pull the wig cap over your face so that the elastic band of the wig cap sits along your hairline and the netting is around your hair.
3. Use one hand to wrap and shape your hair evenly across your head, and then tie the opening to secure.
4. Next, turn your wig over and hold it out in front of you. The hairline should be facing towards you. Place your thumbs on the elastic adjustable tabs at the nape and gently pull the wig on like a cap, keeping your ears free.
5. Pull the wig hairline up on to your own natural hairline.
6. Holding the ear tabs, adjust the position of the wig to ensure the wig is on comfortably and securely. Remember not to pull or tug the lace front because the lace is very delicate.
7. Finally, use your fingers or a comb depending on the hair fiber to help shape your wig into your desired style.

For people with short existing hair or total hair loss
A nylon wig cap is recommended for people with short, thinning hair or complete hair loss.
To apply your wig cap and wig:
1. First, slide the wig cap on to your head and adjust its position so it's comfortable and covers your scalp.
2. Next, turn the wig over and hold it in front of you. The hairline should be facing you.
3. Place your thumbs on the elastic adjustable tabs at the nape and gently slip the wig on like a cap, keeping your ears free.
4. Pull the wig hairline up on to your own natural hairline, or where your hairline would be.
5. Holding the ear tabs, adjust the position of the wig to ensure the wig is on comfortably and securely. Remember not to pull or tug the lace front when adjusting. Instead, hold the wigs' ear tabs to adjust and form to the shape of the temples.
6. Finally, use your fingers or a comb depending on the hair fiber to help shape your wig into your desired style.
