Breastcancer.org was founded by Marisa C. Weiss, M.D. in 2000. This non-profit organization is dedicated to helping people make sense of the complex medical and personal information about breast health and breast cancer so they can make the best decisions for their lives.
Breastcancer.org becomes an educational and support lifeline for millions of people affected by breast cancer. Their support community is highly active and available to all seeking such an environment.
UniWigs is offering a discount code ‘BCOCARE’ (15% OFF) available to all customers and 10% of proceeds from all orders with this code will be donated to Breastcancer.org.
UniWigs is proud to have raised $10,500 for Breastcancer.org, and our support for their mission will continue.
The mission of Breast Cancer Alliance is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment and cure.
To promote these goals, this organization invests in innovative research, breast surgery fellowships, education, dignified regional support, and screening for the underserved.
Since 2014 Breast Cancer Alliance has organized a month-long event called GoForPink.
Every October, UniWigs donates $1 from every sale to BCA, raising crucial funding for annual grants and providing significant educational and awareness-building opportunities to a national audience.

Understanding the unique challenges children face when dealing with hair loss, we took action in 2023 by donating three wigs to children in need. As we enter 2024, we remain committed to our cause and are excited to continue our program. The selection process for the next beneficiaries is currently underway. Our mission is to bring joy and confidence to these special children by providing them with quality hair loss solutions.
UniWigs Hair Donation Program
At UniWigs, we understand the transformative power of beautiful hair. However, for some children battling medical conditions, the dream of flowing locks remains out of reach. That's why we're thrilled to launch our Hair Donation Campaign, an initiative aimed at making and offering FREE wigs for kids, spreading love, confidence, and joy to those in need!
During Alopecia Awareness Month, the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) hosted its inaugural "Walk For Alopecia" on September 30, 2023. This campaign strives to unify the alopecia community, fostering support research, increase awareness, and reduce stigma. Uniwigs enthusiastically promoted and participated in this campaign, contributing to the collective effort to raise awareness. For more alopecia resources, please visit www.naaf.org.
