Product: Cathy 18"halo human hair extension in G-613 platinum blonde shade
As a professional certified in hair extensions, Meaghan has many experience care for hair extensions, here are base tips she shared:
" Tips for keeping your extensions looking fresh and lasting for a long time:
1.Brush them gently before you put them in and before you store them away
2.Store them in a safe place, like a box, so they don't get tangled up between wears
3.If using a hot tool, make sure to use it on the lowest setting possible. I never put my irons any higher than 320centigrade
4.Try to avoid using a ton of heavy products so you don't have to wash them every time you wear them, but heat protectant is a MUST.
5.Wash and condition them every 3-4 wears, or whenever they get too ratty
6.Avoid colouring them
7.If you need to colour them, get a professional to do it. Choose a demi or semi permanent color to darken them. My biggest piece of advice for choosing a colour, go lighter if you are unsure, it's always better to darken them than lighten. Even if they claim to be real or remy hair, the least amount of chemicals on them the better!
I'm wearing the uniwigs Cathy 18" halo extension in platinum blonde. "
