Understanding Hair Topper Parting: A Clarification for Customers

We often receive inquiries about our hair toppers listed as ”free parting.” or ”flexible part”. If you receive a center part instead of the expected left-hand part, you might wonder if it’s incorrect. You might be curious ”Is it really a flexible part?”

This is a question our customer service center often receives during after-sales service.

“I finally got my topper today. It came with a center part- I am pretty confident I ordered a flexible part. Can you please help me? “

“I saw that the Courtney hair topper comes in a ”flexible part” and was wondering if I could use it for a middle part. “

“Hello. I just received my order today and I have a question this is the flexible one where I can part it in any direction?”

“I ordered the upgrade Flexible part but it was impossible to change the part to either side. I tried several times and the hair would resist any change in direction, it only lies one way. “

We are happy to clarify!

If the listing does not specify the part line o then the parting is flexible and it can be moved around within the hand-tied area. Often this area is a a couple of inches wide by a couple of inches long.

While it comes with a pre-styled middle or left or right part, it does offer the flexibility of free parting within the hand-tied area. You can adjust the parting line to your preference by wetting the topper, styling it, and allowing it to air dry in the desired parting position. Subsequently, using a straightener can help train the hair to maintain the new parting line.
