6 Tips to Care For and Maintain Colored Wigs
- Use color-safe products to maintain the vibrancy of your colored hair.
- Limit washing to prevent color fading—dry shampoo is a great alternative.
- Use heat protectant sprays and lower heat settings to avoid heat damage.
- Minimize sun exposure by wearing protective accessories or using hair products with UV protection.
- Deep condition regularly to nourish and hydrate your colored hair using products designed specifically for colored hair.
- Always clean the cap construction after using products like gel, glue, or makeup. Leaving product residue on the cap can cause the hair to shed and deteriorate quickly.
*As each piece is unique and entirely hand-dyed, there might be some slight color dye marks left on the inside of the cap. This will not affect the coloring effects and the use of the wig.
